MAD CADDIES & The Happys ( Report - Kino Šiška, Ljubljana, 14.05.2026.)

 It was Thursday afternoon. My friends picked me up and we headed to Ljubljana. It was gig day! Mad Caddies and The Happys in Kino Šiška. But before beer and ska, there was burek!

So just after 20:00 The Happys started their set. First time seeing them and hearing them. Totally different energy surrounding this guys. Cool and happy, and a perfect warm up for what was to come.

It was half past nine when all hell broke loose! Mad Caddies started their show: strong, with just an introduction and right to the head!

They have been one of my favourite bands for half of my life, band I have seen so many times and I still can't get enough of them. Through all the changes and all of the years they are still my "happy place".

Set list was perfect: all the best ones, including some from the first album, the crowd (16 to 50+ years of age) was crazy - jumping and singing to every single one from first to the last song!

"Leavin", "The Bell Tower", "Goleta", "Villains", "Just One More", "Mary Melody", "She", my favourite one - "Reflections", "Coyote", "Drinking for 11" and so many more. What a retrospective, a great journey through discography! Took me back in time, some 20 (and maybe a bit more) years back!

 Surrounded by some old friends and some new ones, it was the best night out!

I can't remember the last time I was that soaking wet.

Thank you Caddies for a night we won't forget, and thank you Kino Šiška for having us!
