THE INTERRUPTERS (19.06.2023. @Cvetličarna, Ljubljana)

Monday night was the night we were waiting for... The Interrupters played a hell of a show at Cvetličarna in Ljubljana. I saw them last summer at Punk Rock Holiday and it was one of the best shows I've ever been on. This time was no different. 

The four of us came late afternoon, went for a bite to eat and then came back to a parking lot in front of Cvetličarna. We planed on going to see Pigs Parlament play, but instead spent 2 hours talking to a bunch of friends we didn't see for a long time. And so the time passed and it was time for the main thing, as we rushed inside.

Miss Aimee and the Bivona brothers stepped on that stage and in a second the atmosphere got to a boiling point! They started with "Take back the power", followed by "Title holder", "White noise". They played some new songs like "Kiss the ground", "In the mirror", "Raised by wolves", "Anything was better". Aimee was all over the place. Her energy is out of this world...The whole time she was running around, singing, dancing, saying hi to her fans and doing it with the biggest smile... At that point we were soaking wet and barely breathing. Even the walls were sweating! And no...they didn't slow down and no, they didn't give us time to breathe...

"She got arrested", "By my side", "Got each other", "Friend" ...one after the other - all the best ones. And just like that the end was near... They saved the best for last. Finishing off with "Family" and "She's kerosene" we were drained and sad and left wanting more...

Once again they proved why The Interrupters are one of the greatest!
