ZEBRAHEAD (Vienna 11.02.2023.)

Last weekend me and my friend Petra went on a little road trip...we went to Vienna! There are a few bands I would take a 4 hour drive to see and Zebrahead are one of them!

A show took place at Arena, one of the greatest places I've seen... It is a center for alternative culture that was a former slaughterhouse.

Opening for Zebrahead were TYNA, a punk rock band from Germany. We didn't get to see much of them because we really didn't think that the show is going to start that early...

And then at 20:20 ZEBRAHEAD took over the Arena! As I've said before, I loved them since forever, but never got to see them play live before this summer at Punk Rock Holiday. And I was blown away... This time was no different. They started of with When Both Sides Suck and played one hell of a gig going over some older stuff like Hell Yeah, even some older (like 20 years old) Falling Apart and Rescue me. Then there were new ones from their EP II and III, like No Tomorrow, Homesick For Hope and Lay Me To Rest. Guys were super energetic and playful, Adrian as a "new blood" in the band is as he was always with them...his interaction with the crowd is great and he has a big smile through out the whole show. You can tell he has fun and is "at home". They sound perfect!!! Their crew is a part of their show and together they delivered, once again, one of the best shows I've seen!!!

After them ZSK from Germany took over and the guys from Zebrahead mingled with us by the bar and the merch, taking photos with the fans, answering every question. They really are the nicest guys...so down to earth, so polite, so funny and approachable. Only love and respect for you Zebrahead!!! And I will see you again, that is for sure...no matter how long I have to drive!
