IGNITE @VIB, ZAGREB (10.11.2022.)
Thursday night was a roller coaster of emotions! Finally, one of my all time favorite band came back to Zagreb. It was time to IGNITE the hell out of Vintage...and we did!
Supporting band was TROPHY JUMP, local band from Zagreb. Last time I've heard them was a few years ago and I must say they've grown soooo much! They sound strong and confident. New stuff is more indie, but never the less they did a great job warming up the atmosphere!
And then everything exploded! As I said, I've been a huge fan of IGNITE for over 20 years and when Zoli left I honestly thought that was it for them. Never in my wildest dreams I thought that anyone could step up for him...until Eli...
Eli Santana is like a force of nature and (as it turns up) so much needed refreshment! That man never stands still. And he transfers that crazy energy not only to the crowd, but to his band mates. The name sums it al...energy of the band is on a verge of ignition!
Opening with Anty Complicity Anthem they mixed new with the old ones well. Poverty For All, one of my favourite Let it Burn, Bleeding, History, Who Sold Out Now. No show goes without Sunday Bloody Sunday. Then some new like On The Ropes, The Butcher In Me and finishing with Live For Better Days as the whole Vintage sung as one with Eli singing with us, hugging his fans...it was unreal and emotional! That song means so much to me...
This was one of those shows I will always remember and talk about for a long time...
Thank you TROPHY JUMP...
BIG thank you to IGNITE... I fell in love with you all over again...
