NEW FROM THE CLERX - "LOUD AGAINST THE WORLD"

The Clerx are a punk rock band from Italy and they just released their new EP "Loud Against the World".

It is a five songs long EP filled with uncomplicated old school punk rock. At the first listening you can hear the influence of California punk rock bands such as Lagwagon, NUFAN and the rest of Fat Wreck bands. It is produced and co-written by Yotam Ben Horin (Useless ID) who is also a guest on the first track "Blackout". Rest of the songs are "And I Know", "Without The Fight" - fast, melodic, goosebumps riffs! Then "Not This Way", my personal favourite on this EP! I love the guitar on this one and the drums are so contagious. Last one is "Never On The Ground", a bit different from the previous four, but also melodic and so "Californian".

To sum it up - this is a mature punk rock album imbued with the spirit of old school punk rock bands and as such took me back in time. I love this EP and I really enjoyed listening and reviewing. My personal best are "Without The Fight" and "Not This Way".

So please give it a listen. I think you will like it!
