The Random has a new single: "HANK" (review)
The Random is an Italian punk-rock band based in Matera. It was formed in 2007. The band released two albums so far: "The Random" (2009) and the "V.I.P." (2010).
They reunited in 2021, after 8 years, with a new line-up and are currently working on new material.
Band (Frank-vocals, Vito-guitar, Mariano-guitar/back vocals, Mimmo-bass guitar/back vocals, Paolo-drums) released their new single "Hank" a few days ago, and I had a pleasure of listening and reviewing it.
Lyrics are on Italian so I had to translate them to understand it.
They are a bit dark, almost self justifying. It's a theme all of us can rely to, a situation we've all been in, a self explaining conversation in our minds.
Musically they are great. The melody is fast and melodic. Vocal is raw and melodic at the same time and drumming is excellent!
If this is a preview of what's coming - I'm looking forward to it...
